Trump Criticizes Clinton for Going to an Adele Concert

The nasty personal battle between Trump and Clinton continues to get uglier and uglier as the Republican presidential nominee brings his opponent’s birthday celebration into question. Now, Trump criticizes Clinton for seeing Adele for her birthday.

Trump Criticizes Clinton Because of Adele

On October 25th, the day before Clinton turned 69 years-old, the former secretary of state attended an Adele concert.

Predictably, her arch-enemy, former reality show host Donald Trump used her going to the Miami show as a way to deflect from one of his own recent scandals in which he skipped out on potential speaking engagements to make an appearance at one of his new hotels.

Trump fought back criticism regarding his doing real estate business while campaigning as he talked to George Stephanopoulos with ABC News.

In the interview, the journalist posed this question to Trump: “What do you say to supporters of yours who say you shouldn’t be taking time off the campaign trail from the battleground states?”

The real estate tycoon didn’t skip a beat, and immediately fired back by saying, “Well, I think it’s so unfair because, you know, Hillary Clinton goes to see an Adele concert last night, and everybody says, ‘Oh, isn’t that nice, isn’t that wonderful. I have stopped—I did eight stops yesterday…”

To further prove his point, Trump stated, “I built one of the great hotels of the world—what am I supposed to do, not show up?” The presidential nominee went on to say, “But, I can’t take one hour off to cut a ribbon at one of the great hotels of the world? I think I’m entitled to it.”

The businessman turned politician continued to lay into his rival by questioning Clinton’s health. “She goes—she does one stop because she has no energy, she’s got nothing going… She does one stop and nobody complains about that. Nobody complains when she goes to an Adele concert all night long…”

Though Hillary did not have the birthday blessing from Trump, she did get some welcome support from the songstress herself. At the concert, Adele acknowledged that the birthday girl was in the arena, and even gave her a glowing endorsement. “I am English, but what happens in America affects me too. I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton. I love her, she’s amazing.”

Adele is not the first musical artist to show her adoration for the democrat, Katy Perry recently gifted her with a ‘POTUS’ gold necklace, a symbolic gesture for what many Americans hope will come to fruition on November 8th.
