Eyebrow microblading has been described as the perfect way to get natural-looking brows. With it, you won’t need to constantly apply makeup (ending up on the dark eyebrows fail Buzzfeed list), get eyebrow tattoos (ending up on the tattooed eyebrows fail list), or have to go through any painful procedures. It is, however, similar to a tattoo, but don’t worry – it’s not permanent!

How does Eyebrow Microblading Work?

In a nutshell, it’s similar to a tattoo, but not permanent and much more natural-looking. Microbladers use a specially-designed pen, and like artists, actually draw in each individual stroke one at a time! One downside is that the procedure itself will take over two hours. The first step is to use a non-permanent pencil to essentially draft the look of the final product. After you’ve decided, the microblader uses tiny needles that put down the ink needed for the perfect brow. Sounds like a tattoo? It’s not.
