New York hosts more than 60 million tourists every year.  Throngs of people head to Broadway shows, stop for selfies in Times Square, flock to the Statue of Liberty, and visit the 9/11 memorial.  While these attractions are definitely worthy of a spot on your Big Apple itinerary, they’re often crowded.  You can spend a great deal of your time in the city waiting in line.  Instead of heading to the tourist traps, try a few New York treasures that are a bit off the beaten path.
